.02 PREMIUM CRAFT
Baracuta's identity is deeply linked to England and
its rainy climate. What comes to mind when we think about summer is: sunny
weather, days spent outdoors, and time spent with friends. For this reason, the
SS23 collection includes garments and pieces made from natural and light
fibres. Due to the skilful craftmanship of Baracuta's artisans, blazers, pants and shirts come
to life in fine fabrics, carefully selected from all over the world.
The protagonists of this season are high quality fabrics such as Chambray, Washed Cotton, Seersucker, Indian Madras and Suede, which is present in every Baracuta summer collection.
For the summer season, the iconic G9, also known as the Harrington Jacket, gets a new personality thanks to two brand new designs. The first is the Campus Jacket which is similar to a classic buttoned blazer paired with a typical shirt collar, thus changing up Baracuta’s iconic details. The second design brings back the hype of classic aviator jackets, made entirely in Premium Suede.
Another main fabric of SS23 is Washed Gabardine, which is seen in the G9 Pocket, the Driver Washed Jacket as well as three types of trousers: a workwear style, classic chinos, and shorts. The last two models are available in Seersucker too, a typical summer fabric, which is also used for one of the G9 jackets and a very comfortable wide-fit blazer with three practical pockets. Baracuta uses this fabric in three colour variants: classic white and blue, the bold combination of white and red, and finally in navy and dark navy.
Lastly, Chambray couldn’t have been left out of the SS23 Collection, which is perfectly expressed in the G9 Pocket and in a new style of trousers, enhancing some details in the seams and the white mother of pearl buttons.
